Tanisha is a MLS rock star and I am ecstatic at what she made of our mix it up month with MLS. We challenged our DT to use one or as many lines as they could or wanted... check out what Tanisha came up with...
I simply adore the colors of this layout.... the bottom with the Little Lady green that grounds the bottom as if it were grass and the clouds are perfect... it seems like its own little scene.
Love the mix up of the Chipboard Alpha using the negative A and O. So sweet.... and what a joyous smile her little boy has on his face. He must have been so excited. Great gift mom!!
The paint sprays on here make me giggle a little... love how perfectly it all meshes together. The sewing border is perfect too.
This card is stellar... adore the colors and the border punch to look like a stamp... everything is perfect!!
Thanks Tanisha for the wonders that are your creations... thanks for all your hard work that you do for MLS. Leave Tanisha some love on her blog, she has pictures of her project that she just got done teaching for MLS at a big show out of state. She ROCKED it so go show her some support and love here. Stay tuned for more glorious work from our DT and a fun video from Erin and Heather too.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the simplicity of this card. This is a perfect any occasion card with a huge pop of color. Thanks for reading our first Friday Feature next week will be highlight a new technique. See you soon!!
I love seeing different lines being combined together to create FABULOUS layouts. Check out this FAB layout from Melanie Stanczyk. Even the ladies at 2Peas loved it and she made the Top 4 book marked last week. YAHOO! Melanie was so talented utilizing pieces from most of the Summer CHA release.
GORGEOUS!! love the layered Little Lady papers to create grass and the mushrooms to form a whimsical theme.
We are so lucky to have a DT full of talent. Heather and Erin were asked to Guest Design for the AMAZING Dixie Pieces. We ADORE Dixie Pieces and look forward to seeing Sherry and Brenna every CHA. If you are looking for a great kit club and want to support an even more amazing family then look no further. Check out the March kit called "cartoon"...
Don't you love the way they fit in the MLS lines with all the fun other papers and embellishments. It's so fun. Here is two layouts the girls made...
We love getting random emails from lovers of MLS. We received this email a week ago from Michelle and she hit it perfectly!! She is a card genius. Check out how GORGEOUS "All A Flutter" is showcased for card designers and scrapbookers.
I ADORE those pins soooo much!!
The stitching and the pearls... simply perfect.
Thanks Michelle for sending us these beauties. Check out her blog here.
If you want to have your projects highlighted on the MLS blog email your projects and blog link to email@example.com We are also on the lookout in the galleries... so post post post.
Last and certainly not least we have Melanie, check out her favorite layouts from MLS... isn't that such a great thing when you can't pick just one favorite. Melanie has such a great and unique style which showcases MLS so well.
1. What is your go to embellishment?
My must have embellishment(s) are buttons & embroidery floss, ribbons & lace, ink & mist (opps, was I only suppose to pick 1!!!) Wooo...almost forgot flowers & bling!!!!
2. What is your favorite size photo to scrap with?
I like to use 2-3 photos on a page. Probably around the 3.5 x 5 inch size.
3. What's your favorite time of day to scrap?
Friday all day (my day off!), otherwise when the kids are in bed and asleep so I can concentrate.
4. What is your all time favorite MLS image?
Even though I haven't had a chance to play with it yet, I love the cars in the "Away we go line."
5. Do you like to scrap alone or with friends?
Both! But, when I scrap with friends I only get 1/2 done of what I was suppose to do.
6. Do you scrap with music or without? What do you listen to?
Music or TV!!! I like the background noise. I also like talking to my 2 best scrappy friends (that I never met in real life) on the phone!
7. What's your favorite snack while scrapping?
Candy and chocolate! With a nice cup of hot cocoa topped with marshmallows.
8. What is your favorite MLS project or layout that you made and why?
I tried to pick 1 but couldn't. My first choice it the altered canvas I did about a year ago, it was fun to paper piece and build layers. Then I picked Falling for Your Smile, because I liked the trees and leaves I made, plus the squirrels are super cute and you can never go wrong with pink and green together! For my 3rd choice I picked, Feed the Ducks, I liked the blue/cream colors together and the feel I get when I look at it.
Thanks Melanie for awesome projects as always. Check out her blog HERE.
That ends all of our fabulous DT. Don't forget to post your baby photo answers here for your chance to win big!! Stay tuned tomorrow for the winner announcement.
