Hello MLS friends. It's Shemaine here kicking off another week of inspiration here on the My Little Shoebox blog. We're excited to be in Chicago this week exhibiting at the Summer Craft and Hobby Trade show. It's generally humid this time of year in Chicago but I always love attending this show and I get spend time with the team and see losts of creative friends and of course our customers!
So we have some fun things going on at CHA! Julia from Glue Arts is doing a make and take at our booth # 519 on Tuesday July 17th from 2-4. Make sure you stop by and visit us if you're attending the show.
Tuesday evening we're hosting a Sold Out workshop to store owners featuring a fun mini album designed by Design Team Coordinator Pattie Beltran.
Pattie has been designing Helen's CHA classes for several years now and always does an amazing job! If you're attending, we look forward to seeing you.

Designer's Tip: Cut a 1x12 strip of solid cardstock and punch one side with a scallop border punch to create this rosette. Finish with a button and some twine.
Designer's tip: To make these tissue paper flowers use a 1 and 1/4 scallop punch (mine is from Stampin Up!) and punch thru rose colored tissue paper and then repeat with light pink tissue paper. Use a tiny attached to layer and staple your punches and then scrunch them one by one to make these pretty pom pom flowers.
So what are you excited to see at the Summer trade show? Leave a comment and tell me and I'll do my best to Instagram your requests (within reason {wink}) to our Facebook wall all week long!
Have a creative day!

WOW Shemaine! What a gorgeous group of projects you've made! These are definitely some new favorites of yours.
