Hello MLS friends. I am sharing my Summer CHA creations I made for Helen's booth with you today. For the summer trade show in Chicago I was assigned to create wth the Oh Deer and Notebook collections. These collections featured 4 double sided papers, cardstock stickers, Muse Alphabets and brand new trim! It wasn't hard to feel a creative spark after opening my box when it arrived. I'm sure you all agree, our new collections are adorable!
Here's a look at my OH Deer creations
Oh Deer wall hanging
For this project I used the following supplies:
Cricut Expression and the Cindy Loo cart
Patterend Paper: A walk in the woods, Happy Campers
Misc: Stickles, Brown Sakura gelly roller pen, Ranger
Next I did a wall hanging for my daughter's room with a nice large L covered in the woodgrain paper. Mod Podge paper was awesome for making this idea come to life.
Next I created a layout with my daughter and her cousin, Gavin.
The Notebook collection was also just as fun to create with.
Here's a 10x10 layout that fits in a shadow box featuring a few of the tags on the Bits and Pieces patterned paper embellished in fun ways.
Another fun layout of Lily hamming it up at her brother's soccer game.
and some cards
I used some twine from our swap a few months ago with the Twinery.
I love stamping over patterned paper. This is a great technique to try but keep the patterns simple and softer in color for the best results.
For this card I used a border punch on solid cardstock and layered it over the same cardstock and added some liquid pearls for a fun effect.
That's it for today!
Have a creative weekend everyone!
