"Coming Home" Cards

Hello MLS friends, Carol here. Today I want to share 5 cards that I made with the "Coming Home" collection. 

"Hi" Journal Card

Supplies: MLS papers (Urban Green, Town Square, 3D Roll Up Flowers and Accents, Cardstock Sticker, Honey Dew Muse Cardstock Alpha Sticker, Lullaby Trim Pack)

For this mini card, I used the journal card as card base. I simply cut to size the 2 journal cards and folded in half. I find this a quick and easy way to make a card with little embellishing, especially if you are in a rush. Hence I also like to make my own embellishments in advance for such events. The trim rosette is one such example. 

For the inside of card, I layered the 2 stickers. Aren't they cute?? This is a super easy card and I hope you will try it. 

"Missing You" Card

Supplies: Bazzill White Cardstock; MLS papers (Park Avenue, Blue Jeans Mini Alpha Sticker, Kiss Mini Alpha Sticker); Foam Strip (Scrapbook Adhesive); Silhouette Cameo

To make this card, I used Silhouette Cameo to cut the window, popped up the window panes with foam strip. Somehow, I equate looking out the window to missing someone. Anyone of you had same feelings?? 

"Riding By..." Card

Supplies: MLS papers (Chocolate and Chiffon from Lovely Day collection; Park Avenue, Soaring Above, Urban Green, Cardstock Sticker, Honey Dew Muse Cardstock Alpha Sticker, Blue Jeans Mini Alpha Sticker); Foam Strip (Scrapbook Adhesive)

I love to mat each layer of papers with cardstock as it really gives depth to the whole card. Ioutline the mini alpha stickers to make it pop out too.

Journal card is really a great way to embellish a card. I simply add the alpha stickers, outline them and viola, its done.

"Home Sweet Home" Card

Supplies: Bazzill Yellow Cardstock; MLS papers (Soaring Above, Park Avenue, Cardstock Sticker, Blue Jeans Mini Alpha Sticker; Chocolate and Chiffon from Lovely Day collection, Kiss Mini Alpha Sticker); Foam Strip (Scrapbook Adhesive); Fiskars Punch

I love the cute house stickers!! Can't seem to get enough of them. And what's Coming Home without the Home Sweet Home!! :)

"Love" Card

I love this card. My favourite among the 5 cards!!! Simply because I love flowers and 3D stuff!!!
