Hello MLS fans! It's TGIF and the kick off to Halloween weekend! I'm sure many of you will be attending festive parties, running around for last minute costumes needs, scaring people in haunted houses and carving up pumpkins. It's been fun sharing all of our Trick or Treat projects with you this month and we hope you've been able to get lots of inspiration.
Today the design team girls have created some fabulous cards and we want to share their inspiration with you.
Shelly Berg creating with Enchanted Garden
Shelly's tip: Stack foam dots to achieve a layered look for stickers and other embellishments
Ilene Tell creating with Destination
Paper, Sticker: My Little Shoebox Destination
Liquid Enamel: Inksenntials
Lare Rose, Leaves: IAmROses.com
Small Rose: Prima Marketing
Trim: Webster's Pages
Pins: Maya Road
Ink: Tsukineko
Die Cutting Machine: Sizzix
Die: Tim Holtz (Sizzix)
Ilene's Tip: Who says the Destination line can't be girly! Just add some softer touches
and flowers, and you're good to go. Also, an easy way to make the most of your letter stickers is to use the negative left over sheet as a background. Just choose a pretty colored paper for the card base, and then layer the left-over sticker sheet on top. The spaces where the letters used to be are outlined, so it makes for a pretty effect.
Supplies:
Paper, Letter Stickers: My Little Shoebox
Brad: Making Memories
Other: trim
Ilene's tip: Making this card, I realized just how perfect this line is for boy birthday cards! So easy and quick to make cute and very boyish cards - can't go wrong with all the various vehicles and the bright colors. I especially like this sheet with borders for making small cards.
Nicole W ragge creating with Pretty Little Things
This little project has so many cute details! My favorite being the little wire hanger.
Thank you ladies for these beautiful cards!
Have a creative weekend!
