Hello! Linda here with some projects I created for CHA. I used the MLS collections Cherry Delight and Coming Home - such fun, colorful papers, stickers, roll-up flowers and accents, letters and ribbon packs!
My first project is a Shadow Box using the Cherry Delight collection.
There are five layers of paper, and corrugated cardboard. Each layer is foam dotted for depth, all edges are inked, and I used both kinds of embossing! I love the contrast of the white frame with the bright colors of Cherry Delight!
Supplies: Charming, Serenade, Happy Times, RFoll-up Accents, Cardboard Stickers, Baby Doll Trim Pack. Other: Vintage Photo distress ink, ribbon, Thermo Web adhesive.
Next is a card using Cherry Delight to create a more feminine look.
For this card I used a die cut for the corner focus, threaded with pink satin cord, and highlighted with white pom poms. The rolled flowers are backed with a doily and some Happy times paper, and finished with pearl centers.
Supplies: Charming, Happy Times, 3D Roll-up Flowers and Accents, and Baby Doll Trim Pack. Other: We Are Memory Keepers Lucky 8 punch.
The last two projects, a layout and a card, I used the Coming Home collection.
I love the combination of the pink plaid and the green striped tree paper! I used white pom poms to separate the two sections - one has foam dotted trees, and the other has 3D Roll-Up Flowers and a seam binding bow. My granddaughter's picture fits exactly the "Dreaming" theme!
Supplies: Park Avenue paper, 3D Roll-Up Flowers and Accents, Cardboard Stickers, Honey Dew Muse Alphabet Stickers, and Baby Doll Trim pack pom poms. Other: pearls and white seam binding.
Last is a card using the houses and trees, which are the backbone of this collection. Don't you just love the colors?
With this "Welcome" card I did a lot of distressing and inking. I used strips of paper and accents, distressed a piece of corrugated cardboard, foam dotted the houses and clouds, and added a tree and some twine.
Supplies: Town Square, Park Avenue, 3D Accents, Cardboard Stickers, and Chocolate Mini Alphabet Stickers. Other: Twine from The Twinery, Vintage Photo distress ink, and a white doily.
I hope you have gotten some ideas and inspiration. I certainly enjoyed creating with these exciting MLS collections. Be sure to check our blog every day to see the creations of our talented designers!
