Hi, everyone. Carol Theng here today. For my project today, I want to focus on My Little Shoebox's alpha stickers. I love all the colours of the alphas and the different sizes. Just perfect for any project.
I made a canvas and a card (sort of by accident). For the canvas, I used one My Little Shoebox paper for the background. I paste it down with gel medium, then sprayed water and rubbed off the paper to reveal some of the opposite page. Then I paste down a lace at the side and adhere the Mini Alpha Stickers randomly across the canvas. To seal in the stickers, multi-medium was applied. I also spread fiber paste across a mask(Mini Cubist by Crafter's Workshop) to create some texture.
Then I sprayed glimmer mists and stamped some wordings and My Little Shoebox's stamp all over randomly. Finally I adhere My Little Shoebox's Mini Alpha Stickers, Sprinkle Glaze Alpha Stickers, Glitter Alpha Stickers and Cardstock stickers to make up the phrase.
Close-up views of the canvas.
Here you can see the texture of the canvas and the fiber paste.
Supplies: White and Kraft Cardstock (Bazzill, American Crafts); Watercolour paper (Daler Rowney); Canvas; MLS Keepsake paper (Picture Perfect); MLS Mini Alpha Stickers (Kiss, Chiffon, Brownie, Sky, Quicksand, Peppermint Stick, Fog, Mint); MLS Sprinkle Glaze Alpha Stickers (Cotton Candy, Whoopie Pies, Salsa, Ocean); MLS Glitter Alpha Stickers (Lake, Snowflakes); MLS Cardstock Stickers (Lovely Day, Aiko, Keepsake); MLS Clear Stamp (Cute As A Button); Stampers Anonymous Stamp (Ultimate Grunge); Unity Stamp (She Art Print Texture); Claudine Hellmuth Multi-Medium/Decoupage glue; Lace Applique; Golden Fiber Paste; The Crafter's Workshop stencil (Mini Cubist); Staz-on Black Ink; Tattered Angels Glimmer mists; Scrapbook Adhesives foam strips.
This card was sort of unplanned for. I used a watercolour paper to test out the effect of the glimmer mists on the alpha stickers. It turn out so nice that I made a card out of it.
Well, I hope you are inspired by my project. Do try out using alpha stickers as the focus of your project. Its so much fun!! Thanks for visiting My Little Shoebox blog.
