Hello MLS fans! It's been a week since Halloween and you've probably taken lots of photos of your trick or treaters and Halloween memories that you're ready to scrap. Well, it just so happens that we still have some fun ideas to share with you.
Halloween memories are perfect for saving in a mini album and I happened to have a fun mini from Making Memories tucked away in my scrap stash perfect for my assignment this month.
Using our Trick or Treat collection, our Unity Co-branded stamps and matching Cottage Cutz dies from Scrapping Cottage here's what I created.

Shemaine's Notes: I must admit that I have always looked at mini albums as exhausting because of the pressure to create multiple pages quickly. For me a layout is so much easier because it's only one page. So...I decided to look at this mini as one mini layout page at a time and I spent a few days to take my time to create each one and adding additional items that have been in my stash year after year like the cupcake stick on the cover. I realized that by changing my thinking towards this project I was able to create a fun keepsake for my kids.
And sharing some layout inspiration with you today is Norine Borys who has a few ideas for some Halloween layouts.

A few of our favorite pumpkins by Norine

Supplies used: Scaredy Cat - 11532, Itsy Bitsy Spider - 11538, Monster Crossing - 11533, Sunrise alpha minis - 08412, Cornmeal glitter stickers - 10119, 3D rolled-up flowers - 11531, Bazzill cs, Prima pearls, Cardworks Candi paper brads, SEI buttons.
Norine's notes: For this layout, I played with a Zig embossing pen and embossing powder by drawing over all the webbing and heat embossing the lines. I love how it makes the web design pop! More 3D roll-up flowers make for a very pretty Halloween layout!

Supplies used: Starry Night - 11535, Batty For You - 11536, Monster Crossing - 11533, 3D roll-up flowers - 11531, Blackberry mini alphas - 08409, Black Diamond glitter alphabets - 10113, Cardworks Candi paper brads, Crate Paper ribbon.
Norine's Notes: For this layout it was fun to leave the 3D roll-up flowers flat and use them as an embellishment that way. To emphasize the roll, I inked the edges all the way to the center.
That's it for the Trick or Treat inspiration today. Have a creative day!
